PRIVATE PRE-K & KINDERGARTEN
Four to Six Years
Where little learners become confident students.
Four, five, and six are exciting years. Children begin seeing themselves as readers, writers, mathematicians, problem-solvers, and capable members of a classroom community.
Our Private Pre-K & Kindergarten program combines intentional academics with hands-on learning, small-group instruction, creativity, movement, and play — giving children the strong foundation they need while preserving the joy and curiosity that make them want to learn.

Small Classes. More Possibilities.
Children don't arrive in Pre-K or Kindergarten with identical skills — and we don't expect them to.
In our intentionally small classroom, teachers have the opportunity to truly know each student: what they've mastered, where they need support, what challenges them, and what makes learning click.
Small-group and individualized instruction allow children to build skills at an appropriate pace. A child who needs more time can receive it without feeling left behind, while a child who's ready to move ahead can continue growing without being asked to wait.
We meet children where they are — and help them discover just how far they can go.
Building Strong Foundations

Pre-K and Kindergarten are about more than memorizing letters and numbers. These years build the academic skills, confidence, independence, and curiosity children will carry into everything that comes next.
📚 Becoming Readers & Writers
Phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, handwriting, early reading, and writing experiences help children build strong literacy foundations at their individual level.
🔢 Making Sense of Math
Hands-on activities help children explore numbers, counting, patterns, shapes, measurement, and early mathematical thinking through experiences they can see, touch, and understand.
🧠 Thinking, Questioning & Discovering
Science, problem-solving, discussion, experiments, and exploration encourage children to ask questions, make connections, test ideas, and think for themselves.
🤍 Growing Beyond Academics
Children practice independence, responsibility, communication, collaboration, emotional regulation, and navigating friendships as capable members of their classroom community.
Learning That Goes Beyond the Worksheet
Young children are capable of serious learning — but serious learning doesn't have to mean sitting at a desk all day.
At Biloxi Bay Academy, academic skills are woven into hands-on projects, small-group lessons, experiments, stories, games, creative work, discussion, movement, and real-world experiences that give children a reason to use what they're learning.
Students might practice measurement while completing a project, strengthen writing skills by recording an observation, explore science through an experiment, build number sense with manipulatives, or develop reading skills through instruction tailored to their current level.
Strong academics.
Meaningful experiences.
And plenty of room to still be a kid.

Come See a Different Kind of School Day
A strong education can still feel like childhood.
Choosing a Pre-K or Kindergarten program means choosing the environment where your child will begin building their identity as a learner. We want that identity to be filled with confidence, curiosity, connection, and a genuine excitement about discovering something new.
Come meet our teacher, explore the classroom, and see how small classes, individualized attention, and hands-on learning come together at Biloxi Bay Academy.
