The earliest years are full of extraordinary growth. At Biloxi Bay Academy, our Infant & Toddler program provides a warm, relationship-based environment where children are known, comforted, encouraged, and given room to explore at their own pace.
A Day Built Around Their Needs
Babies and toddlers don’t all eat, sleep, play, or grow on the same schedule — and we don’t expect them to. Our youngest children are cared for with respect for their individual routines while gradually becoming part of the natural rhythm of their classroom.
Throughout the day, children have opportunities for sensory exploration, music and movement, stories, outdoor time, language-rich interactions, and plenty of floor time to move, play, and discover.
For our youngest learners, care is part of the curriculum. Feeding, diapering, comforting, and everyday interactions are opportunities to build trust, communication, independence, and connection.

Learning Starts From the Very Beginning
Babies and toddlers learn through everything they do — reaching, moving, listening, touching, experimenting, communicating, and connecting with the people around them.
Our teachers intentionally create developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage language, motor development, sensory exploration, early problem-solving, social-emotional growth, and curiosity — without expecting little ones to learn through worksheets or sit-down lessons.
At this age, play is learning.
