Two and Three Years

Two and three are BIG years. Children are finding their voices, testing their independence, building friendships, and discovering just how much they can do for themselves.

Our Preschool program gives children the structure and consistency they need while leaving plenty of room for play, movement, creativity, and exploration. Through purposeful play and teacher-guided experiences, children begin building the early academic, social-emotional, language, and self-help skills that prepare them for their next stage of learning.

What families can expect:

• Play-based, hands-on learning
• Early literacy, language, math, and problem-solving experiences
• Social-emotional development and friendship skills

Elementary Education in an Intentionally Small Setting

Some children simply thrive in a smaller learning environment. Our Elementary Microschool offers families an alternative to the traditional classroom while still providing the structure, academics, friendships, and meaningful experiences children need.

Small class sizes allow our teacher to understand each student's strengths, challenges, interests, and learning style. Students receive individualized and small-group instruction while progressing through reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies at a pace that supports both confidence and continued growth.

Learning extends beyond worksheets and textbooks. Projects, experiments, discussion, creativity, problem-solving, outdoor experiences, and student interests help make learning meaningful and give children opportunities to take an active role in their education.

Our goal is to develop independent, capable learners who are curious about the world around them and confident in what they can accomplish.

What families can expect:

• Intentionally small class sizes
• Individualized and small-group instruction
• Reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
• Hands-on projects, experiments, and problem-solving
• Opportunities to explore individual interests and strengths
• Creativity, collaboration, movement, and outdoor learning
• Regular communication about learning and progress

Four to Six Years

Four, five, and six are exciting years as children begin seeing themselves as readers, writers, problem-solvers, creators, and capable members of a classroom community.

Our Private Pre-K & Kindergarten program combines purposeful academics with the play, movement, creativity, and hands-on experiences young children still need. Intentionally small classes allow our teachers to truly know each student and meet them where they are — offering support when they need it and greater challenge when they're ready.

Children build strong foundations in literacy, phonics, reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies while also developing independence, confidence, responsibility, and the ability to work alongside others.

Our goal isn't simply to prepare children for the next grade. We want them to become curious, confident learners who genuinely enjoy learning.

What families can expect:

• Intentionally small classes and individualized attention
• Early literacy, phonics, reading, and writing
• Hands-on math, science, and discovery
• Small-group and individualized instruction
• Art, creativity, movement, and outdoor learning
• Independence, responsibility, and social-emotional development
• Daily communication and classroom updates through Brightwheel
